Cam was diagnosed with AML in April 2023. He spent 166 days inpatient at Boston Children's Hospital. Cam completed 3 rounds of chemo which got him into remission from his cancer and also allowed him to move forward to the next part of his treatment which was a bone marrow transplant. Cam has successfully engrafted from his bone marrow transplant but recovery has been a bit harder after transplant Cam has suffered from unexplained fevers that lasted 2 weeks, skin gvhd, fatigue, low sodium, and most recently he is currently hospitalized for gi gvhd. We are fortunate to live in Massachusetts and have a wonderful team of doctors that watch Cam closely and make sure he stays safe and gets the best care possible. Cam enjoys playing Fort Nite on Xbox, Legos, Uno, bike riding, and before he got sick playing sports outside.
